Thamara Dasanayaka

With over a decade of dedicated experience in education, I am a passionate tutor and a qualified Ayurveda doctor committed to shaping young minds through quality learning. I completed my Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in 2026, strengthening my academic foundation in science and health while continuing my long-standing journey in teaching. For more than 10 years, I have been guiding students across Grades 6 to 11, helping them build a strong understanding of scientific concepts with clarity and confidence. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex ideas, encouraging critical thinking, and helping students truly understand what they learn rather than memorizing content. Throughout my career, I have successfully taught over 1000 students, many of whom have achieved excellent academic results and developed a genuine interest in science. My commitment goes beyond just covering the syllabus—I aim to inspire curiosity, discipline, and a problem-solving mindset in every student. Combining my medical background with my passion for teaching, I bring a unique perspective to science education, connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. I continuously adapt my teaching methods to suit modern learning environments, including online education, ensuring that students receive the best possible guidance regardless of circumstances. My goal is simple: to empower students with knowledge, confidence, and the ability to think independently—guiding them toward academic success and beyond.
